2-2-24 Manistee/Ludington
Steelhead fishing has been good as of recent. Crazy warm winter temperatures along with “Consistent”temperatures over the past week have fish starting to push into the river systems in bigger numbers. We are finding a mix between fresh fish and winter hold overs all through the river. It’s been a complete mix on what’s been producing. Beads in 12 and 10 ml have all been taking fish in live and dead egg colors such as orange, peach, yellow and chartreuse. Jigs have also been producing fish still. Bright colors in 1/16th size have been doing well tipped with 2 wax worms.
The typical winter water of deep pools have been the best areas to target as temperatures are still not over 40 but consistently in the low to mid 30s
Dates still available for February and March.
