With cold temperatures coming, the ice should heal up quickly. Earlier this week my friend Cody from hard water adrenaline spent a few days on South Manistique lake. As you can see by the pictures, the fishing was good. A Variety of tip ups, and jigging and dead rods produced the fish . A word of caution as this year has been very iffy because of warm temperatures. Always call ahead to a local bait shop for day-to-day ice conditions. Hopefully the cold temps will fix the ice by the weekend. Curtis and the Manistique Lakes area is an awesome ice, fishing destination.
