Fishing has remained steady, even amidst rain, wind, sun, or snow due to mobile tactics and adaptable target species allowing great experiences while low angler traffic means high quality and quantity catches; if planning an ice fishing trip to the U.P. do so within two weeks from now. These fair ice conditions won’t last long.
The best bite has been observed in the early morning and late evening for panfish, perch have been consistent from mid morning through the afternoon.
Lately the team has been fishing deeper flats to yield better fish.
