4-6-24 Drummond Island fishing report. The ice is out at all the local marinas . With the warmer temperatures the spring perch run will be just around the corner!! Today we decided to go jigging for Lake Trout . It took a little bit of searching with the electronics too locate them . Most of the fish are shallower than normal following the structure along the river channel banks in search of schools of smelt . Once we located them they were very aggressive !! Capt.
