11-13-24 Saginaw Bay report. The fall bite is on! Walleye finally made it back into the inner Bay with the water cooling down. Water temp is now in the upper 40s. 12 to 20 feet of water produced some good numbers the last few days. Big baits. Bandits, #11 flicker minnows, PWC's have been the bait size. Trolling 1.4 to 1.8 had been best, but don't be afraid to try slower or faster to get them to bite. There is something about watching the Offshore Tackle planer boards pull back in the fall. Might be a 3 pounder or maybe a 12 pounder behind that board. November and December are great months for catching trophy Walleye. Dates still available until the ice starts.
