11-26-24 Saginaw Bay fishing report: Saginaw Bay walleye fishing is flat-out awesome right now. Lots of fish have moved into the inner Bay area. Water temp is in the mid 40°. 10 to 25 feet of water are holding fish. Some pods are bigger than others, but they are still active. Bandits have been best for me, but other boats have been doing well with Deep Hushy Jerks 12 and Flicker Minnows #11. With the water being cold speeds have been 1.2 to 1.7 mph. Don't be afraid to try different speeds to get the reaction bites. When you find a group of walleye biting, don't leave them. Spin around and go through them again. With the cold temperatures in the forecast, be kind at the boat ramps. Drain your trailers as you pull out of the ramp. Ice on the ramp is no fun for anyone. A bucket with gravel in the back of the truck is always a good idea.
