Fishing report for Drummond Island 1-27-25 . Lots of nice perch being caught in the middle grounds 15-18 ft of water using minnows and wax worms. Also a few herring starting to show up with better numbers expected through out February. Also good numbers of large northern in the shallower bays are being caught on tip ups and in the spearing shacks. The ice is in great condition this year with most areas having 10-12 inches of good clear ice . Always use caution in the narrows between the islands which has less due to the currents. Be sure to stop into Drummond Island Outfitters or The Lucky lure to pick up your bait and tackle needs! They are also great places to get information on current local conditions .
