Indian River Area Fishing Report

Well John broke in his new angler quest pontoon on Burt Lake yesterday. As you can see we caught a whole bunch of nice walleyes with my son and a friend. Best baits seemed to be shad style baits and ran them down between 15 and 20 feet over 30 to 35 foot of water. We caught fish on several different colors: purple perch crawdad and shiny purple seem to be the best. Try to find shoreline breaks that aren't quite as steep for easy fishing.
