Sault Ste Marie Area Fishing Report

10-12-20 Sault Sainte Marie fishing report.

Wind , rain and some sleet and bite continues.
Conditions have been tough but Walleyes, Atlantic's, Steelhead are still out there. Trolling behind the power plant and in the basin are still producing.
Spoons and crankbaits in chrome with some color are working for salmon and trout.
Pulling crankbaits in the river channel and adjacent 20 ft flats are giving up some walleyes.
Whitefish behind the power plant are still giving up some Whitefish and Atlantic's drifting flies.
Pike are moving into the bays and edges of the channel. Casting spoons , cocktail spinners are taking some fish.
