Curtis Area Fishing Report

7-26-21 Curtis area
Well the good fishing continues on big and south Manistique lakes in Curtis. We just arrive for annual vacation, and the first trolling pass yielded for keeper pike and two nice keeper walleyes. Looks like the walleyes are hitting the usual crank baits number fives and number seven Rapalas. We trolled them quite fast at 2.5 miles an hour. We concentrated our efforts on the weed edges right close to deeper water. Will be here for two weeks so I'm sure will update the report again at the end of our trip.
