The fall bite on Lake Leelanau has started. Water temperatures dropped down into the mid 50s.
We caught 36 Walleye and saturday and 39 walleyes today. We had lots of undersized fish along with some nice keepers.
Early in the morning we ran Berkeley hit sticks and later in the day we switched over to Jigs and plastics. We used quarter ounce Jigs with Charlie Brewer 3 inch paddle tail grubs. No live bait.
Bright colored jerk bait seem to be best. We fished depths from 6'-15' of water. Call Bryan at: 2BCaught Charters.
