Manistee Area Fishing Report

1-10-22 Manistee area
Big Manistee river is fishing well still even during the cold days of January. Beads are doing most of the damage in bright orange and chartreuse. Some jigs are doing well also tipped with wax worms. Some fish have been caught in transition areas but mainly your deeper runs/pools are producing the most fish. We have some warmer days coming and it should only get better the closer we get to spring.
