1-31-22 Indian River
Guest reporter Cole Hoogerhyde gave us this great report. Burt’s been talking to me this year we’ve been putting good numbers of walleye on the ice off Burt, fishing deep structure. Finding points and underwater structure fishing with tip ups from 17 to 35 fow. The fish have been suspended in 30+ fow mid day and have been eating all day/mid day then slide up into the flats and or structure to feed more heavily. Nice sized goldens on tip up spread suspended from 12 inches all the way up to 8 feet off bottom have been the ticket. Set up shack on the deep end of your structure to catch cruising fish roaming the flats at the bottom of structure and sharp drop offs
