1-31-22 Ludington area
Guest reporter Josiah Blount has been whacking the fish around Ludington.
We got most of the perch in PM lake basically anywhere in 30-34 ft of water using a dead stick with a minnow on one rod and jigging tear drops with wax worms on the other. They didn't seem to prefer one over the other.
We got our crappie and bluegill in Hamlin. The bluegill were in the small bayous in 8-10 feet of water using copper colored teardrops with wax worms on the edge of weed beds. Close to dark we moved straight out from the bayous to 23-25 ft of water for crappie. We got all them on slip bobber rigs with minnows. Hope this helps and good luck
