South West Lower Peninsula Area Fishing Report

12-6-24 Muskegon area Fishing has been good on Muskegon lake for the last 2 weeks. Catching  pike walleye and perch.I’ve been trolling deep husky jerks size 12 and 14’s in 40’ to 60’ of water during daylight hours. When the trolling bite slows down after dark I’ve been moving in shallow casting smithwick p10’s and Berkley hit sticks in 5’-10’ of water. Best colors have been black n gold and fire tiger. Perch fishing has been good off the sand docks and the deep whole by bear lake in 35-65’ of water just look for all the boats. I’ve been using perch pounders or ratfinkees tipped with minnows and spikes.
