- Marinade - 1/4 cup soy sauce - 1/4 cup veggie oil - 1/4 cup brown sugar - whisk together and put trout in skin side up to marinade. - Cooking - heat grill to med/high - clean grill grates - put on fish skin side up - cook for 3-5 min on each side - Asparagus - put in med sauce pan with 1/4 inch of water and cook on high covered for 4-5 min. - Mash Potatoes - boil a large pot of water on high and cook 3lb of potatoes peeled and quartered for 25-30 min. drain and add 1/2 stick of butter and 1 tsp salt , 2 tsp garlic and 1 tsp pepper and 1/2 cup milk, and mash till smooth.
