10-18-20 Huron to Cleveland Hello fellow fisherman. Captain Gary here from Fairport harbour Ohio.
I know this may sound like a broken record but the weather has been a real pain. Lol. The wind never stops from every direction. Needless to say it's hard to stay on active fish. We've still been fishing in the 65 to 72 ft of water. Dipseys with Rippling Redfin's, Shallow Bombers and Yaleye are still the best producers.
Everything is still deep.
Sets have been
160-185 on a 3
140-155 on a 2
110-135 on a 1
95-110 on a 0
Speed 2.4 2.8
Wire with Kabooms, Deep Thundersticks, small and big are still producing some fish.
The Walleye are going to start moving shallower with water temps dropping so these programs now will switch to Bandits , Reef Runners and Spro mooneye minnows soon . In some areas to the west the already have. When Mother Nature calms down Fall is a really great time of year to have lots of fun and catch a possible fish of a lifetime.
Good luck when you get out. Fish Strong. Captain Gary Zart. Blue Dolphin Charters. bluedolphinwalleye.com
