Detroit Area Fishing Report

5-2-21 Detroit River is actually getting better with time. Combination of vertical jigging with 1oz. Jigs and Casting 3/8oz jigs was the ticket this weekend. The bite is early and fades about 10am. The afternoon the bite picks back up. Water is still very clean. Working the southern portion of the river mainly.
Bright colors are best. Pimp Daddy, Chartreuse, etc.
For a great charter there's a couple options. Bryan at 2 B Caught and Eric Long at Longlines charters
