Monroe - Luna Pier Area Fishing Report

Perch fishing remains salad out of the Monroe area towards the east all the way to the bass island. There's really no set depth, I've heard great reports as shallow is 10 feet and also is deep is 35 feet. It's really about searching around and finding a group of fish that you can anchor up on. The best presentation seems to be perch pounders or perch rigs, with live emeralds on the tophook and cut emerald on the bottom. A lot of guys are giving the line a little slack and actually Laying the cut emerald on the bottom. The bigger perch seem to be just swimming up and picking it up. Very good limits have been caught by many many different folks in this area of the lake.
