St Clair Shores Area Fishing Report

10-4-21 Lake St. Clair
It’s fall time and that means one thing on LSC, fall perching. There are many spots on LSC to catch perch but when chasing after jumbos some areas hold a lot bigger fish then others. The last couple weeks we have been catching fish in depths of 16-17 FOW. Fishing areas with small weeds mats. Over the weekend we found very nice sized fish in shallower, in the 13-14 FOW range with more weeds around 1 foot off bottom. We were running perch pounders and drop shots with minnows. Staying mobile is key if your trying to find those bigger schools of 10+ inch fish. When we found them they hung Around and they bit good. Thanks Anthony for the great report!
