5-28-24 Oscoda area Fishing Report
Lower AuSable River. A few late run chrome steelhead are still coming in. Hot shotting Mag Lips 3.0, 50-60’ back has been working well. AuSable River mouth area. The walleye bite has been great. Jigging night crawlers and slow trolling Boogie Shads 50’ back with planer boards early morning working best. Offshore fishing on Lake Huron has been excellent. Lake trout with a few silver fish targeting 50-80’ of water. Dodger/spin n glows off the bottom and Silver Streak spoons in any fluorescent color 40-60 ft down on the riggers. Lead core lines have produced several trout as well.
