3-22-25 Oscoda lower AuSable River fishing report.
With the recent warm up ,the combined snow melt run off and rain fall has increased the river flow . Water temp is 37.5 degrees. There is a combination of winter and fresh spring run steelhead in the system with a few Atlantic salmon The spring run will continue to increase with warmer weather and water temperatures. Hot shotting the deep holes 50’-70’ back with Mag lips 3.0 in gold/orange , copper/ orange working best. Several fish have been caught around the river mouth floating spawn bags under bobbers.
