6-11-24 Port Clinton Ohio Fishing has spread out a bit this week reports coming in from both ohio and Canada. Last week, it was predominantly Canadian waters that was producing the better bite. We did have some winds to battle these past couple of days, but they were still able to get out and fish. It has slowed a bit up north, but Mill Point is still producing a good amount of fish. Trollers same program spoons and Tru-Trips 70 back with speeds 2.1 to 2.2 mph. Casters are running weapons with 1 to 1 1/2 oz egg sinkers at a 20 count. The Ohio side has picked back up as well. There have been a few good spots that have been heating, like the Vermillion area and West of North Bass at the Kidney. It's pretty much the same program as it is in Canada, but trollers are 60 to 70 back here with Tru-Trips and spoons. There have been a few Small Mouth Bass being around the islands in about 18
to 20 fow using tubes. There is also a rumor about the start of a perch bite in about 10 to 12 fow in front of the old Moose on Lakeshore Dr. and of course, the catfish are still going strong in the Sandusky Bay.
